Well, the seed catalogs are pouring in and I'm drooling over the pages . Pencil in hand and alittle restraint. I've already racked up about 165.00 worth of Lilly bulbs and a NEW black upright elephant ear. I couldn't resist. It helps with the cold winter nights. The anticipation of spring.
The catalogs of the turn of the century were works of art. The seed packets were just as beautiful. They all came in a packaged in a oak or pine box with the contents listed on the inside lid with yet another gorgeous litho. The insides were all hand drawn.
I think the catalogs of today will be all be toss out with the recycle.

I'm gittin those itchy dirt covered fingers too, can't wait for the warm nights with the windows opened.
Cool about the building, great studio for Cathie and a great place for art classes etc. and storage for stuff, sounds like a plan, you can't beat the price...you need to get rid of the snow though...what a curse...
I'll be anxious to hear the news...

I see you are also a parrot lover!

Great Blog! You are a very talented artist. Go for the building if it feels right. You only live once....Tiina...
Wow what a wonderful collection you have there!
I grew up in Lone Tree IA and moved to Minneapolis about 5 years ago, and I wish I would have met you when I lived there!
It is so fun looking at all your photos and hearing about creative projects around my old home town.
Keep up the good blogging.
