memory jug

Wow, Here it is! My 1st attempt at a memory jug. It's dog related. a memory jug for "Peanut" and "Jimi" . It pretty small. but, now i feel a bit more confident at doing them. But really know Before i start another one I need more stuff. It was hard getting the oil paint patina on evenly.

If I were ever to start and artist community you would be the first invitation sent out. And the bungalow assigned to you guys would be the one set higher then the rest to catch all the light. A Memory Jug, what a grand idea and it looks fantastic. – gary

I Love Memory Jugs... most likely because I'm the Nostalgic Sentimental sort and so anything that will evoke Memories in the form of Art is appealing to me and interesting. This turned out great and a sweet Tribute to Peanut and Jimi!

Hi there! I am also a memory jug enthusiast! I have a gorgeous 19th century jug and many antique pieces that I am ready to add. However, I want to make sure I use the correct base to the jug so that I can place all my precious pieces correctly. Any suggestions on what to use? I would greatly appreciate the advice!!! Thank you
