Hey Cathie! I went down to Sister's yesterday, at the last minute a friend came out, to ride along, we started looking around at plants, and visiting, and you guessed it, I FORGOT YOUR TREASURES! I remembered them at Sisters.... I can meet you, or drop them next time I run down, it will be soon, her sale is coming up, and I'll want to check it out! Sorry... Barb C
Hey Cathie, Wish you had been along! You were included in our visit, however, we agreed, we love you! Please call, I have a question about the hives. See Ya! Barb C
Cathie... I think you are meant to come see me... I went to Sisters today... Did I grab your treasures...NO! I was on a dead run, trying to get stuff ready to take to Barb, and totally forgot, I didn't set foot in my store at all today... I am SO Sorry! We will hook up! Barb C

Surface Hunting by Claudia Emerson
You always washed artifacts at the sink, your back to the room, to me, to the mud you tracked in from whatever neighbors's field had just been plowed. Spearpoints, birdpoints, awls and leaf shaped blades surfaced from the turned earth as though from beneath some thicker water you tried to see into. You never tired, you told me, of the tangible past you could admire, turn over and over in your hand-the first to touch it since the dead one that had worked the stone. You linedbookshelves and end tables with them; obsidian, quarts, flint, they measured the hours you'd spent with your head down, searching for others, and also the prized hours of my own solitude-collected, prized, saved alongside those artifacts that had been for so long lost.
any person with partner whose passion is arrowhead hunting, knows the meaning of this poem.
