warm and comforting

I haven't made a lamp shade for a while. but, i've made plenty in the past. These are a few that I've kept. Business was brisk for a time. It kept me very busy. A great winter hobby. The hunt for cool vintage laces and materials. trying different techniques. adding beads and ribbon embroidery. Then sitting in front of the tv set wrapping the frames and hand sewing everything. I taught myself. I couldn't even sew on a button but i learn to sew a lampshade. Where there's a will there's a way.
I love the warm and cozy feel they give off.

I tried to leave a comment the other day, but my mouse powered pc was running REALLY slow so I gave up...anyway, 2 weeks ago I dragged down a shade frame from the upstairs to start a new shade...well...it's still sitting in the same spot, UNTOUCHED...you really have to be in a frame (ha) of mind to start one huh...geesh!!! I just haven't caught the urge yet, so I'll enjoy the ones I have...or maybe yours...ha!

I have the cutest lil' spidey webs in my kitchen window, love how they reflect the sun...I also dragged out the vacuum too, but my chicken house is spotless, oh this weather may it never stop, at least till my sheets are dry...ha!

Luv ya sista
